How to publish or unpublish your agent
Turn your AI agent on so it answers the customers on its connected channels, or pause it without disconnecting anything.

Publishing turns your agent on: it starts answering the customers who write to it on its connected channels. You can unpublish it at any time to pause it, without disconnecting anything.
Before you start: Test your agent and connect at least one channel. See How to test your agent before you publish it and How to connect WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook to your agent.
Step 1: Open your agent's test view
In the left menu, open Agents and select your agent. At the top right, click Test Agent. You’ll see, in the right panel, the agent's status: Unpublished if it isn't answering yet through the connected channel.

Step 2: Publish it
Click Publish. The status changes to Live and Receiving messages. From now on, your agent answers on every channel you connected.

Step 3: Unpublish it when you need to pause it
Click Unpublish in the same panel. It happens right away, without a confirmation step: you'll see Agent unpublished. and the status changes to Unpublished. Your agent stops answering on its channels, but its channels stay connected, so you don't have to connect WhatsApp again when you publish it.
Tip: An unpublished agent still answers in the test chat. Use it to try changes before your customers see them.
Step 4: Check the status of all your agents
In Your Agents, the Status column shows Published or Unpublished for each agent. If you want to publish or unpublish without opening the agent, click the menu (⋯) on its row and choose Publish / Unpublish.

Done
Your agent is live and answering customers. Keep an eye on its conversations in the Inbox, and unpublish it whenever you need to pause it.
