How to set your markup on AI usage
Choose how much you earn on top of the cost of each AI model your clients' agents use, with one markup for all models or one per model.
Last updated 14 days ago
Every time your client's agents use an AI model, they pay the model's cost plus your markup. The markup is your profit, and you set it as a percentage on token usage in each plan.
Step 1: Find the plan's AI pricing
In the left navigation panel, under Agency, open Plans › Subscription Plans. Click Create plan, or open an existing plan's ⋯ › Edit. At the end of the window you see AI Model Pricing.
Step 2: Use one markup for all models
With Same markup for all models selected, type your percentage. It starts at 20%.

Step 3: Or set a markup for each model
Select Custom markup per model. Under Models for AI agents you see each model with its cost per 1,000 tokens. For each one, type your percentage: Your cost shows what the model costs and Your profit shows what you earn on it.

For example, if a model costs $0.0096 per 1,000 tokens and your markup is 20%, your profit is $0.00192 and your client pays $0.01152 for those 1,000 tokens.
Step 4: Save the plan
Click Create plan, or Save changes if you're editing it. Each client on that plan pays your markup on top of the cost of every model their agents use.
Technical reference
What it applies to: your clients' agent conversations, and also their knowledge processing and the audio and images their agents read. That's why the list includes transcription and embedding models.
One mode at a time: the plan uses either the same markup for all models or one per model.
0% is valid: your client then pays only the model's cost.
Each plan has its own markup: you can charge a different markup in each plan.
Marketplace tools: the price of the tools your agents use from the marketplace is set elsewhere, in Settings › Integrations.
Common problems
A model shows $0 in Your profit
A model shows $0 in Your profit
Some models cost very little per 1,000 tokens, so your profit on that amount rounds to $0. You still earn your percentage on what your clients actually use.
I can't type a negative markup
I can't type a negative markup
The markup can go from 0% up. To charge your clients only the model's cost, use 0%.
Done
Your markup is set. You earn on every AI model your clients' agents use.
