Connect your AI agent to WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook Messenger so your customers can chat with it, and check that each channel is connected.

Connect your agent to the channels your customers already use. Once a channel is connected, your agent answers the messages that arrive through it. In this guide, you'll connect WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook Messenger.
Before you start: Have the access you need for each channel: the Facebook account that manages your WhatsApp Business number or your Facebook Page, and your Instagram professional account.
Step 1: Open Channels
In the left menu, open Agents and select your agent. In the agent’s configuration tabs, open Integrations, then Channels. You'll see one card per channel, each with a Connect button.

Step 2: Connect WhatsApp
On WhatsApp API — Official, click Connect. A Facebook sign-in window opens. Sign in and follow Meta's steps to choose your business and the WhatsApp number you want to connect.
Important: If your WhatsApp number has two-step verification, have its 6-digit PIN at hand. Each number can be connected in only one account: if it's already connected somewhere else, you'll see a message and it won't be connected.
Step 3: Connect Instagram and Facebook Messenger
Instagram API — Official: click Connect and sign in with your Instagram professional account in the popup window.
Facebook Messenger API — Official: click Connect, sign in with Facebook and choose the Page that will get its messages answered by your agent.
Step 4: Or connect WhatsApp with a QR code
If you don't use the official WhatsApp API, you can link the WhatsApp on your phone. On WhatsApp QR, click Connect, then Generate QR Code.

On your phone, open WhatsApp and go to Settings → Linked Devices → Link a Device. Scan the code on your screen.

Step 5: Check the connection
When a channel is ready, its card shows Connected. If something goes wrong, the card shows what happened instead. Follow the message and connect again.

Common problems
A WhatsApp conversation shows as Unknown in the Inbox and my agent didn't reply
A WhatsApp conversation shows as Unknown in the Inbox and my agent didn't reply
Some people write from a WhatsApp account with a username, like @maria.lopez, and WhatsApp doesn't share their number. Lety now recognizes them and your agent replies. Messages received earlier with that feature cannot be automatically replied to: reply to them from your WhatsApp.
I finished the authorization in Meta's window but WhatsApp doesn't show as connected

Reload the page and connect again. If it still doesn't connect, contact support with the time you tried.
Done
Your agent replies the messages that arrive through the connected channels automatically. Send a message from another phone or account to check that it responds.
