How to create a subscription plan for your clients

Set the price, billing cycle, trial days, agents, wallet credits and features of a plan, and share its payment link with your clients.

Last updated 10 days ago

A plan sets what each client pays and what they get by subscription: the price, how often they pay, a free trial, how many agents they can create, wallet credits for AI usage and the features you list. When you create it, you get a Stripe payment link to share with your clients.

Before you start: Connect your Stripe account in Settings › Stripe. Until you do, the Plans page shows Stripe is not connected and you can't create plans.

Step 1: Open your plans

In the left navigation panel, inside the Agency section, open Plans › Subscription Plans. You see each plan you've created as a card. Click Create plan.

Step 2: Fill in the basics

  • Plan name: the name your clients see. Each plan needs a unique name; you see Plan name is available when it's free.

  • Billing cycle: Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annually or Yearly.

  • Tier: the order of your plans, from 1 up. A higher tier must have a higher price than the tiers below it.

  • Price: what your client pays each billing cycle.

  • Trial days: from 0 to 30. With 0, the plan doesn’t include free trial.

  • Agents: how many agents your client can use. At least 1.

  • Description: a short text about the plan, up to 350 characters.

Step 3: Add wallet credits and features

  • Wallet Credits: money for AI usage that goes into your client's wallet. One-time is a balance applied once, when your client subscribes. Recurring is a balance added on every billing cycle. Leave them at 0 if you don't include credits.

  • Plan Features: type a feature, like "24/7 support", and click +. Your clients see them when they choose a plan.

  • AI Model Pricing: your markup on AI usage. Leave Same markup for all models or choose Custom markup per model.

Important: The credits come out of your own wallet when your client subscribes and on every renewal (depending on the type you included). Keep enough balance in Wallet and billing to cover them.

Click Create plan.

Step 4: Share the payment link

Your new plan appears as a card on the Plans page, with its Stripe payment link at the bottom. Click the copy button next to the link and send it to your client. When they pay, their account is created on that plan.

Step 5: See how your clients choose a plan

In their account, your clients open Wallet and billing and click Manage plan. They see your active plans with their price and features, and can move to another plan.

Technical reference

  • Who creates plans: only your agency. Your clients choose among the plans you've created.

  • Tier in use: if you choose a tier already assigned to another, that plan and the ones above it move up one tier when you save. The window warns you before you save.

  • Payment links: if your wallet doesn't have enough balance for a plan's credits, you see Payment links blocked by balance until you top it up. If your agency reaches its subaccount limit, the cards show Plan limit reached instead of the link.

Common problems

Check that your Stripe account is connected in Settings › Stripe. If the Plans page says Your Stripe account is restricted, finish the steps Stripe requests in your Stripe account.

If you connected an existing Stripe account, your plans may not be created. Contact support: they'll disconnect it so you can connect Stripe again, creating the account from Lety.

Turn off your browser's translator and other extensions, or try another browser, and save again. If the error persists, contact support.

A plan's price must be higher than the price of the plans in lower tiers. Raise the price or assign another tier.

You see Plan name is already taken. Each plan needs a unique name; choose another one.

Done

Your plan is now ready to sell. Share the payment link with your customers so they can start their subscription and use their agents.
