What your clients see in their portal

Learn what each client sees and can do in their account on your platform, and how to open it yourself with View Portal.

Last updated 14 days ago

Each client has their own account on your platform: their portal. They sign in with their email and password, on your domain and with your brand. This guide shows what they see and how you can open that same view.

Step 1: Open a client's portal

  1. Go to Subaccounts.

  2. On your client's row, click ⋯ › View Portal.

You see their account exactly as they do. A yellow notice at the top reminds you that anything you do is done as that subaccount.

To go back to your agency, click Back to agency view in the notice.

Step 2: Know what your client sees

The client's menu has:

  • Home: their dashboard, with their wallet balance, what they've spent and their usage.

  • Agents: their agents, up to the number their plan includes.

  • Contacts and Inbox: the people who talked to their agents and their conversations.

  • Settings: their profile, security, members and API keys.

  • Wallet and billing: their balance, auto recharge, their plan and extra agents.

Your client doesn't see your agency settings, your Stripe account, your plans or your installations.

Step 3: Check their name and email

In Settings › Profile, under Subaccount Information, your client sets the Subaccount Name. The Subaccount email follows the email of their profile: to change it, they update their email under Personal Information.

Step 4: Check their wallet and plan

In Wallet and billing, your client sees their credit balance and can add credit, turn on auto recharge, manage their plan and add extra agents.

When their plan offers other options, they only see the plans you let them have access to.

Important: If a client has no active plan, a window asks them to choose and buy one before they can use their account.

Technical reference

  • Who opens the portal: your client with their own email, or you from Subaccounts with View Portal.

  • Brand: your clients see your name, logo and domain, never Lety's.

  • Support: your clients don't see Lety's support. You decide how to help them.

  • Payments: what your clients pay goes to your Stripe account.

Common problems

This can happen when a client cancelled and subscribed again with the same email. Contact support with your client's email.

They reached the number of agents their plan includes. They can add extra agents in Wallet and billing, or move to a plan with more agents.
